Full lifecycle experience and familiarity with relevant design and delivery methods and frameworks: TOGAF, SAFe, Agile, Scrum, RUP. Strong team leader and equally strong team player.

A former Chief Technical Architect at NHS Digital (UK), Shaun led the architecture team through the delivery and technical assurance of significant £-multi million national technology assets.  Responsible for building, managing and developing senior technical teams. He has taken roles of technology advisor and design authority on large programmes of work and has represented NHS Digitals technology office both nationally and internationally. He has personally taken responsibility for work on Spine, and with his team has provided design, delivery and governance across a range of key UK health care service infrastructure components: ERS, EPS, PACS, SUS, NHSMail, N3.  Shaun has collaborated closely with the interoperability community and promoted wider open connectivity to its core systems, he has developed strategic initiatives, introduced the Enterprise Architecture Board, and oversaw strategy to support NHS Digital’s cloud adoption strategy, platform Strategy and associated API strategy.

In recent years, Shaun has been shaping digital health strategies and operations at various national and organisational levels in Saudi Arabia and Oman.

In his spare time, Shaun is an avid Ocean Sailor.
